| Can you believe it? The map divides Bangkok into new and old: east of the railway tracks is new, west of the tracks up to the Chao Phraya River is old, and across the river is really old. We don't think the word "new"' crosses anyone's mind when looking around Bangkok. Maybe the divisions should be called hectic, bewildering, and simply crazy. |
