| Chimfunshi is so remote we couldn't hike out of the sanctuary and we waited for a day to hitch a ride. We caught a lift from Clarence, the construction foreman who oversees work on the chimpanzee enclosures. In our usual fashion, we asked for accommodation in addition to a ride and ended up sleeping overnight at Clarence's house. | |||
