After an overnight voyage to the northern islands, we landed on Genovesa. Each island has its own personality and unique wildlife population. Genovesa is renowned for red footed boobies and frigate birds. We shared the beach with sea lions, snorkelled with white tipped reef sharks, and then looked at some funny birds. | |||

Red
footed boobies, the most colorful, best seen on Genovesa island. Unique among
boobies, they nest in trees and are the only birds with prehensile, webbed feet.
