We woke up in Ifaty, a small village along Madagascar's southwest coast that's locally famous for good seafood and world famous for diving and snorkeling.
Local
women paint their faces with mud for sun protection.
| |||
Delicious, barbequed fish
sold for pennies from beachside shacks.
| |||
Bird sized butterflies are the
best looking things on the beach.
| |||
We sat on the beach, next to our hut that
we rented for a few bucks per night, and enjoyed a perfect sun, an easy going
20 Celsius with the sea breeze. The water is clear and warm.
