The Kruger experience can be summed up as: Disney World meets the African Kingdom. The national park offers excellent infrastructure: paved, signposted roads, even the dirt roads are well groomed, fenced camp grounds with communal kitchens, clean bathrooms, and manicured grounds for $10 US per person. Fifty US dollars buys a complete bungalow, including private barbeque, kitchen, and en suite bathroom.
Lookout for leopards.
Wide mouthed rhino, as the Afrikaners call them, in English this name is corrupted into "White Rhino." So the other rhino species is called "Black Rhino." In South Africa it always goes back to a white, black thing.
Elephants use large branches as toothpicks.
