.People say that the orange and black stripes give Tiger fish their name, but the real reason must be those large teeth. This 4 kg fish put up a great fight. For our part we risked our lives by putting it back in the water and resuscitating it with a slow waving motion in the water that attracted nearby crocodiles.
Some of these African baobab trees, like the one behind us, have stood here for over 1,000 years.
This afternoon we flew out of Mana Pools (a great view of the Zambezi River) and landed in Matusadona National Park on another remote airstrip in the bush. We'll backpack and bushcamp for the next 6 days, tracking rhino and lion with our scout, Isaac, and guide, James.
