| From Nairobi it costs a day's ride and a $20 bus ticket to reach Moshi, Tanzania, where we'll start our Kilimanjaro climb. Tourists choose among several routes to top Kili. We chose the Machame route because it is supposed to be the hardest and most scenic. We'll probably regret that 'hardest' bit.
