Next Day
Walking around Abu Dhabi (the same goes for Dubai), we see that the buildings gleam because they're new; well watered grass and palm trees line the waterfront and boulevards; people drive more Mercedes and Toyota Land Cruisers per capita than any other place in the world; Asians work the markets and boutiques and seem to outnumber Arabs; and no homeless beggars sit in the streets or ask for handouts - Abu Dhabi and the rest of the UAE must support a generous welfare program. Despite all of this wealth, they can never catch the USA because we have Martha Stewart. This must irk them.

Architecture may have changed from traditional mud-brick to Vegas-esque volcanic waterfountains, yet women wear veils.
