| We started the day by tracking a lion in our Land Rover. Conveniently for us, lions often use roads in their travels. |

| We found him at the end of our search. He let us take some pictures, then he went
back to sleep. |

| Our camp has a fully stocked bar. The local booze hounds, hyenas, made off with a bottle of gin last night. These
animals will eat anything. They chew on tires, chairs, and tent poles. We had
great fun watching a hyena examine a sealed cooler, open the lid, and pull out some soda cans. Still not satisfied, it grabbed
the cooler handle with its jaws and dragged it out of camp.
