The Dominican Friar celebration rocks the streets of Gdansk. People crowd the streets, bands play folk music, and street stalls or cafes offer good eats and cheap beer. After a few Polish sausages and a cardiac arrest for lunch, we met many friendly Poles that were willing to speak to us in English. Some of them even asked us to tell them American Polish jokes, but we only knew ones about lawyers. Sorry Ed.

Lively Gdansk streets for the Dominican friar celebration. We didn't see any Dominicans or friars.
