Our trip couldn't be complete without a golf day. We played the Royal Cape. For a course that has hosted the South African Open 11 times (and is Cape Town's best), the course wasn't impressive. Neither was our shot-making. At one point, a bird claimed my ball as its egg. That evening we left Cape Town and Africa, bound for London. Looking back, we thought the best parts of Africa were: Masai Mara, Mana Pools, and Victoria Falls. |
I played so poorly the bird wanted to confiscate my ball |
To keep Jill from beating me, I distracted her putting by picture taking. |
The heavenly quality to this photo is how we'll remember Africa |
