Even though Santorini is a small island, there is always a death march to find if you're looking for one. We follow a path to nowhere, trekking down the side of a mountain with the sun beating our backs and Ryan in the lead. He's a faithful pack mule on these death marches. Six or seven miles later, we 'discover' the north end of the island. Wouldn't you know that it looks just like the south end, so we're feeling as though it was all worth the trouble.
