Our Thoughts

Costa Rica is an incredible vacation spot. Much more expensive than it's neighbors but offers a wide variety in adventure activities.

Itinerary
Trip 1999 February, 99: John, Zico, Esteban, and I partied in Costa Rica to celebrate Zico's wedding plans. We stayed in 'the compound,' which was a beautiful, gated estate within San Jose. We drove across the country to the west coast and displayed our fat bodies on the beach. In the cloud forest, we zipped down cables from tree-house to tree-house 75 feet above the ground. At Arenal, we sat in a hot stream that flowed from a volcano and formed a natural jacuzzi. Zico and I almost drowned when he tackled me into the river on a white water rafting trip; that's how Zico became the undisputed captain of 'Team Stupid.' Somehow we survived the roads, rivers, and horseback riding.
